Storm Drain Marker | Almetek’s Storm Drain Markers have been engineered to perfection. They install easily, quickly and will remain permanently in place. The sub-surface mounting installation with the turned down edges will ensure against theft and snow plow displacement. Storm drain markers can be installed on the roadway, curb, storm drain grate or head. The attractive 4” Disc, 3-D embossed, metal, storm drain markers will last for decades. They may even last a lifetime. These markers are so strong that they are virtually indestructible.
Stainless steel storm drain markers are economical. Plastic markers may be pennies less initially, but, in the long term, they will be almost four times more expensive. Look at the facts. Plastic isn’t as durable as stainless steel. The estimated life of a plastic domed marker is approximately 7 ½ years; whereas, a stainless steel domed marker has a 30 year warranty. Some customers report that plastic markers are failing after 2 years! A plastic domed marker needs to be replaced approximately 4 times in a 30 year span. Hence, without including inflation and re-installation charges, a plastic storm drain marker costs almost 4 times as much as a stainless steel storm drain marker.
